
Junior Sales Executive ı Shy Aviation
Role Type: Permanent (40 hours per week working 5 out of 7 days over including occasional weekends)
Location: Central London Office
We are looking for ambitious Junior Sales Executives to join our team at SHY Aviation during an exciting period of growth. In order to be considered for this role, you will need to have experience working in a sales capacity in one of the following industries –aircraft charter, high-end automotive, luxury property, recruitment, or technology sales.
Sales Executives will be expected to use their initiative and resourcefulness to make contact with Ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWI) who may have a requirement for private jets or helicopters.
To be successful in this role you will be expected to build lasting relationships and ensure you provide an incredible service to your clients by processing quotes and confirming bookings in a structured and efficient way.
Sales Executives can expect to be rewarded with a competitive basic salary plus excellent commissions which, (if successful) you can expect to gross the following OTE.

Year 1 OTE – circa £ 57,000

Year 2 OTE – circa £ 130,000

Year 3 OTE – circa £ 200,000
You represent SHY in a highly professional and competent manner exercising commercial judgment and managing your client’s expectations throughout all your communications.
This role will also involve networking and participation at specific aviation and networking events.
Responsibilities

Mine existing data and find inventive ways to engage with UHNWI

Building your a list of potential clients by researching databases, websites, and other social media platforms

Maintain and develop relationships with both key clients and new business leads to maximise business opportunities and increase client loyalty in an industry where client retention is never guaranteed

Hit daily and weekly KPIs in terms of contact points with UHNWI and their executives

Proactively steering your list through outbound sales calls, emails, and visits (both face-to-face and virtual) and converting them to potential customers.

Receiving inbound requests for urgent charters virtually 24/7

Present custom-built quotations to clienteles validating good commercial expertise

Ensure clients’ requirements are exceeded, at every opportunity
Requirements

A love of all things aviation!

Working constructively in a pressurised environment

A high degree of computer literacy including Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc...

Experience using CRM systems (preferably Zoho CRM)

Resilience with the ability to bounce back after setbacks

Able to take a commercial outlook on all flights to ensure a win-win for SHY Aviation and the client

Ability to negotiate contracts

Ability to communicate on a level with UHNWI
