  • Job Title: Private Jet Charter Broker, Europe

  • Role Type: Permanent (40 hours per week), working 5 out of 7 days including occasional weekend cover

  • Location: Germany or Switzerland

This role will be based out of Germany or Switzerland. Frech and/or German language is essential. 

Role Overview:

As a Private Jet Broker  you will have already had 3-4 years of selling successfully to High Net Worth Individuals. The position will focus of qualifing prospect's interest and purchasing intentions and fulfilling them. It will cater to high-net-worth indivisuals and corporations, selling private jet charter flights. With access to SHY’s extensive client database and inbound lead strategy, the role is equipped and supported by a competent Flight Management and Commercial team and tools necessary to accelerate success.

You will be expected to build lasting relationships and ensure you and SHY are providing an incredible service to clients.You will represent SHY in a highly professional and competent manner exercising commercial judgment and professionalism.

This role will also involve networking and participation in specific aviation and networking events.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with clients to identify requirements and source suitable, competitive aircraft charter solutions

  • Build lasting relations and communicate effectively with aircraft operators

  • Ensure clients’ requirements are exceeded, at every opportunity

  • Maintain and develop relationships with both key clients and new business leads to maximise business opportunities and increase client loyalty in an industry where client retention is never guaranteed

  • Building your list of potential clientele by researching databases, websites, and other social media platforms

  • Proactively steering your list through outbound sales calls, emails, and visits (both face-to-face and virtual) and converting them to potential customers.

  • Receiving inbound requests for urgent charters virtually 24/7

  • Act as a SHY Ambassador and represent SHY in the best light 

Requirements

  • A love of all things aviation!

  • 2-4 years of Aviation and HNW experience

  • French or German language

  • Working constructively in a pressurised environment

  • Knowledge of the aviation market in terms of aircraft types, availability, airports, handling agents, pet travel, restrictions, and permits an advantage

  • A high degree of computer literacy including Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, • Outlook, PowerPoint etc... 

  • Experience of using CRM (preferably Zoho CRM)

  • Resilience with the ability to bounce back after setbacks

  • Able to take a commercial outlook on all flights to ensure a win-win for SHY Aviation and the client

  • Ability to negotiate contracts

  • Ability to communicate on a level with High Net Worth Individuals

  • A great personality

Training in our systems, processes, and industry will be provided to the successful applicant.
